Best hotel in the region. In beautiful setting, nice pools and a great team of people who offer a super service. The restaurant has delicious food at good prices. A much better deal then restaurants in Samara

Very nice hotel, beautifull and clean rooms (with AC), fantastic garden and pool. Good bar near the pool with a lot of cocktails. Happy hour from 17:00 to 18:00 hrs. Dinner and meals served at Restaurant of high quality, breakfast buffet is more then sufficient

A lovely hotel with 2 pools and meandering pathes to the small batch rooms. All with outdoor access. The second pool was awesome for a more private setting, away from the loud music and screaming children. The beach was a short shuttle ride away and was huge! We had surf lessons, and I went on a dolphin sightseeing cruise and snorkeling. The food was awesome, with breakfast included with traditional CR dishes as well as cereal, pastries, eggs, and fruit.

... The crew at the Leyenda is absolutely amazing! Everyone was genuinely kind and friendly, and always accommodating; we were treated like royalty. Our cozy room with a charming terrace was a perfect retreat amidst the lush greenery. The hotel’s territory is exceptionally well maintained and very beautiful! The hotel boasts 2 swimming pools that are just the right amount of relaxation and fun, and were never overcrowded. Oh, and the restaurant – the food was super delicious, great variety on the menu, tuna tartar was my favorite for lunch! and you can’t go wrong with fish for dinner...

Only way it could be better is to have a surf spot out front. Pools are epic, restaurants have great food for both kids and adults, and very convernient to Playa Carillo. AC blows cold, staff is helpful and friendly. You get through the front and it opens up to a little tropical paradise, really like the way it is setup with rooms and cablins around the pools, footpaths meandering everywhere. We will be back.

Such a magical place. The pools were glorious. Beautiful landscaping. The rooms were very clean, spacious and fancy. The free breakfast was delicious. Roger at the front desk was very nice.

We did not stay on property, we did the day pass option. At $20US/person, with $10 bar credit, great value to use the pool for the day from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Highly recommend if looking for a relaxing pool day.

What a little gem! We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were beautifully updated, very clean and we were happy with the pool right in front of our room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Definitely visit the restaurant. I expected a “pizzeria” but it’s a wonderful restaurant and the tuna steak was fantastic. Their gardens and pools are gorgeous. I wished I’d stay longer

Lovely hotel, lovely people, lovely time! Amazing hotel in Samara and Playa Carrillo was our favourite beach. Hotel Leyanda helped us so much when we reached out in advance to ask if two of their staff members would be a witness to our wedding. They responded quickly and were so helpful in the entire process. Thank you so much - we appreciate it so much. The witnesses were lovely and brought us a bottle of champagne to the beach to celebrate, and gave us a ride back. THANK YOU BOTH...

Lovely Hotel We all (two adults and two boys age 6 and 10) loves Hotel Leyenda. Highlights were very friendly staff, guests from all over the world, the most wonderful Carillo beach just a (free) 5 min shuttle ride away, gorgeous pool and pretty gardens! 😊

Of you want to treat yourself go to Hotel Leyenda! Very nice atmosphere, beautiful very spacious pool in nice tropical gardens, two very delicious restaurants and a spa to fully relax. And then the room! Spacious and clean and with all amenities you need. Leyenda is my favorite hotel in Costa Rica!

Beautiful, friendly and comfortable Beautiful hotel and very very friendly service! We've spent so much time in/at the pool. Absolutely gorgeous, especially after dark. Meals were delicious. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Good beds and I like to mention that I loved the soap in the bathroom. It smelled heavenly. The hotel is not very close to the beach, but they provide a free shuttle service whenever you want to go. They even delivered food and drinks to the beach. All in all, a great place to spend your vacation.

We stayed for a long weeked. All staff was very attentive. Rooms clena and comfy. Food is varied, tasty and nicely served. Great to visit with small kids (there's a big kids pool 🤩) This is a very nice hotel perfect for a trip on- a-budget.

Amazing hotel ! We had such a great stay! Our room was really nice with a balcony overlooking the gardens. Wifi works well, there are 3 pools, a bar with a ping pong table and foosball table. Staff is very friendly. The best was the restaurant, the food was delicious and definitely home made, we loved it! The shuttle with the beach is great, and you have lounge chairs on the beach. I highly recommend.

Perfect place to go! It was the best hotel i went during my trip to Costa Rica. When we arrived, we received a perfect reception by Roger with a drink. Also, they have private services on the carillo beach (bathroom, chairs, etc.). The staff was very friendly and kind. They work very hard (we saw Roger to the reception, at the bar, the restaurant and the next morning) but still very Nice. The room was just perfect also! It worth the Price to take a superior room! I highly recommand this place! Dont miss your chance to stop there!
