Camaronal combines gray sand with loose stone and beautiful sunsets. This site belongs to the Camaronal Wildlife Refuge, seven kilometers from Sámara in Guanacaste. In it you can surf, walk the trails or enjoy the sun. It is a beach that is still not very crowded.
In Camaronal beach you can witness the spawning of sea turtles during certain times of the year. Near the beach, there are some lodging alternatives. The area is still very virgin, making it a perfect place to relax in solitude. It is 40 minutes from Carrillo beach, and one hour from Sámara, where you will find a wide range of hotels and restaurants.
Much of the way to the beach is ballast and is in acceptable condition. You can reach Camaronal by car.
